Never a bridesmaid's, always the bride's
Obviously you have to decide what jewelry matches the color and design of your dress, but did you know you should match your jewelry to the season? While matching your dress depends on you, here are some easy tips to help you match the season.
Summer
One of the most popular wedding trends is getting married on a beach, surrounded by only your closet friends and family. If the bride chose a beach setting, chances are your dress is simple and your feet are bare. You want your bridesmaid jewelry to match.
Choose something delicate that won't overshadow your dress or the bride's! Maybe choose something with pearls to complete the ocean theme. For example, you could go with a lovely Swarovski crystal set:
Spring Weddings
For a spring wedding you might want something a bit more sparkle. The sun is still shining, but it can still be wet. Why not match your jewelry to the weather? For example, lovely large Swarovski crystals catch the sunlight, but can be shaped like giant raindrops.
Another possibility is to go with a flower motif to symbolize the new blooms of spring and the bride and groom's new life together. These are just a couple of ideas that will help you make an impression in the wedding pictures, and photograph beautifully.
Winter Weddings
For a winter wedding - go big and go bold! So much of winter is spent covering up, so why not go with a strapless dress and a chunky, sparkling necklace to set the room on fire!
